Burbeila Inked provides this website service with the aim of promoting and providing information to website visitors about our web design services. Burbeila Inked will use reasonable endeavours to ensure the website is available at all times but will take no responsibility for any system failure or for any loss incurred as a result.

Burbeila Inked uses its best endeavours to display information that is true, accurate and current, but reserves the right to change, alter, delete and adapt any services provided at any time without prior notice to any party. Burbeila Inked takes no responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of any such inaccuracies, changes, alterations and adaptions.

Burbeila Inked reserves the right to edit any uploaded and displayed content and will not permit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, torturous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful or racially, sexually, ethnically or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate.

Burbeila Inked reserves the right to terminate any services without notice.

Under no circumstances will Burbeila Inked be liable in any way for any content including, but not limited to any errors or omissions in any content/work, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted to and communicated from the Burbeila Inked website service.

All images, illustrations and samples of our work are to be used as a guide only and may represent nonstandard or upgrade options that are not included in the package price.

Burbeila Inked reserves the right to withdraw any service or package at any time without notice.

CANCELLATIONS

Please note that in the event of you cancelling a booked tattoo appointment (secured with deposit or Pre Payment) you have 3 options:
Provided that you have given notice of a minimum of 24 hours, you can retain an ‘in store’ credit that can be used at Burbeila Inked at some point in the future that is suitable for you (within 1 year) or it can be transferred to a friend or family as a Gift Voucher, Tattoo Credit and or a shop item

If an appointment is cancelled or requested to be rescheduled within 24 hours prior to the appointment time, deposit is non-refundable.

Strictly no refunds for no-shows.

DEPOSITS

Deposits are non refundable. This is standard in pretty much every industry.
Harassments and/or begging around deposits will be dealt with by blocking any and all accounts associated to you and will be black listed.

TATTOO VOUCHERS (and credit)

Please be aware that all tattoo credit and vouchers will expire after one year.

Tattoo credit and vouchers cannot be used towards a flash day or as a deposit for a booking.

Tattoo credit and vouchers are NOT transferable for cash or items/products on the website/in store

Tattoo credit and vouchers are NON REFUNDABLE, so please be sure before you make a purchase.

Tattoo Consent Form

Before we begin on your tattoo, this consent form will need to be read carefully (here it is for you to view before hand)

I acknowledge by viewing this agreement via the burbeila.co.nz website that I have been given the full opportunity to ask any and all questions which I might have about the obtaining of a tattoo and that all of my questions have been answered to my full satisfaction. I specifically acknowledge I have been advised of the facts and matters set forth below, and I agree as follows:

• If I have any condition that might affect the healing of this tattoo, I will advise my tattooer. I am not pregnant or nursing. I am not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• I do not have medical or skin conditions such as but not limited to: acne, scarring (Keloid) eczema, psoriasis, freckles, moles or sunburn in the area to be tattooed that may interfere with said tattoo. If I have any type of infection or rash anywhere on my body, I will advise my tattooer.

RED INK CAN and MAY CAUSE AN ALLERGIC REACTION - PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS.

• I acknowledge it is not reasonably possible for Amber Bastin to determine whether I might have an allergic reaction to the pigments or processes used in my tattoo, and I agree to accept the risk that such a reaction is possible.

• I acknowledge that infection is always possible as a result of the obtaining of a tattoo, particularly in the event that I do not take proper care of my tattoo. I have received aftercare instructions and I agree to follow them while my tattoo is healing. I agree that one touch-up session will be free of charge within 6 months of getting the initial tattoo. Any other follow up appointments will be at a cost.

• I understand that Amber will not, and cannot do direct copies of any other given Artist’s work. Amber will draw something up from the design provided, and together we will agree on a final design. Amber will include drawing time into the final price per piece - which will be given to you after the first consultation. I hereby consent by signing this, that I am happy with the design in place and, trust and respect Amber’s ability as a self taught artist.

• I understand that if I have any skin treatments, laser hair removal, plastic surgery or other skin altering procedures, it may result in adverse changes to my tattoo.

• I acknowledge that a tattoo is a permanent change to my appearance and that no representations have been made to me as to the ability to later change or remove my tattoo. To my knowledge, I do not have a physical, mental or medical impairment or disability which might affect my well being as a direct or indirect result of my decision to have a tattoo.

• I acknowledge that the older you are the longer a tattoo will take to heal, and the finished tattoo appearance can be unpredictable due to skin's elasticity and health.

• I acknowledge I am over the age of 18 years, and that I have truthfully represented to my tattooer that the obtaining of a tattoo is by my choice alone. I consent to the application of the tattooing procedure to take place after signing this declaration with Amber Bastin.
